Role Summary:

The Material Handler will work alongside our Supply Chain and Procurement team to support the efficient movement, handling, and control of materials and inventory throughout the organization. This multi-disciplinary role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, stocking inventory, preparing kits for work orders, picking parts for production and distribution, and performing cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. We are seeking a dependable team player who understands the importance of operational excellence in supporting medical device development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Accurately stock materials and maintain organized inventory locations
  • Pick, stage, and distribute materials for production, manufacturing, and customer orders
  • Prepare and kit components for work orders and manufacturing activities
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
  • Maintain inventory accuracy within the ERP or inventory management system
  • Label, package, and transport materials safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support operational needs
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and inventory environment
  • Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related role preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or medical device environment, a plus
